Mountain Top Adventure Wedding Meets Elopement In Boulder, Colorado

I can’t believe I haven’t blogged this absolutely stellar wedding until now. Let’s blame 2020 on that one…

This wedding was a dream come true. I was thrilled to be asked to document this wedding because (1) the couple was fantastic (2) it was a mini wedding before mini-weddings were the new hotness (3) it was a DESTINATION and (4) that destination was on top of a mountain. Guys…come on.

A mountaintop destination wedding? Swoon.

Maybe you’re thinking wait- doesn’t ‘elopement’ mean no guests? Not necessarily. The lines between mini wedding, micro wedding, elopement, adventure wedding etc are all getting a bit blurry, but I don’t mind. If it means more couples shrugging off the ‘Have To’ list in lieu of ‘Want To’ list, then I AM HERE FOR IT.

I like the idea of ‘elopement’ being more along the line of “Let’s run away and get married and invite our closest besties along for the adventure!” Sound fun? Sound super personal and intimate and low key and AMAZING??

It. Is.

Sometimes your perfect reception is pizza…especially if that pizza is from Joy Hill Pizza in Denver.
